High schools
We offer a practical experience of artificial insemination of a cow, the digestive system of a non-ruminant and compost making.
While these are focused on the gr12 curriculum, teachers can also request topics such as tourism and marketing, budding and grafting, renewable energy, eco-sytems, and microbiology.
To highlight of the tour is usually at the end, with a walk through an afro-montaine forest and swing in the forest (for students and teachers).
Primary schools
Primary school (and pre-school) learners are exposed to farm life and where their food comes from.
Each tour is tailored to the age of the learners and what the teachers request.
Some of the basic topics covered are hand-milking, cheese making and farm animals (their uses and homes).
The tour is concluded by a walk though the forest and swing.
